About Me
ABOUT ME
shy at first but then chatty, I enjoy meeting new people and discovering new places. Rather open-minded. As a guest, I am clean and neat and definitely not noisy - unless it is called for :)
I have not had that many opportunities to couchsurf thus far and unfortunately my last experience was not great. I am looking for hosts that enjoy the social aspect of couchsurfing and don't leave their guests at their own fate because they decide to party while their guests are lost somewhere. In turn you can have a fun time with me, enjoying good talks, maybe cooking together or going out or whatever floats your boat :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing seems like the perfect way for people who want to travel and get the most out of their experience - meet new interesting people from the place you want to discover is a key to actually understanding where you are.
I am not in a position to host as I am renting out a bed in a shared room at the moment...
Interests
Obviously traveling :) It is the best thing you spend money for and that makes you richer.
I also love music (independent, rock, progressive mostly), a good book (currently reading my way through American classics as my European education didn't give me that big an insight) and a good movie (The Big Lebowski is an all-time favorite but I love any movie that makes me think or that is awesomely original. Except for horror and romantic movies).
In my free time I also enjoy a good walk with no goal, just breathing in the world around me.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Alternative, Indie, Folk, Progressive... Favorite bands are Tool (!), Pink Floyd, Genesis, Radical Face...
Movies: all time favorites are The Big Lebowski, Tarantino movies, Star Wars, Science Fiction in general, movies that make me think, the occasional action thriller...
Books: finally got over traumatizing school literature (great books, but the teaching...), recently started reading American classics. Contemporary: you can never go wrong with Auster!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walked in a desert, been to the southernmost point of Africa, seen the Big 5, lived in a hut with bushbabies (oh they are SO cute), given up my job to start living my dream, sleeping on the beach... Amazing is what you make of it :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you some Luxemburgish :) I can share some travel experiences, we can discuss anything you're interested in, I can maybe show you some music you didn't know... And after meeting me you can brag that you met a person from a country that has very few inhabitants ;)
And if you like or are interested in Geocaching (or even if you're not yet), I would love to take you on a quest!
