About Me

ABOUT ME

Hey everybody,
I am Nati, 28 years old from a small town near Hamburg, Germany. I just finished studying my Masters at the University of Gothenburg. After 2 years in beautiful Sweden, I moved back to Greifswald, where I studied my Bachelors in English and Scandinavian studies a couple of years ago.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I used couchsurfing was in 2012 when I and a friend were on a little road trip in Sweden and needed a place to sleep for 2 nights in Uppsala. I love the concept of couchsurfing so when I went to Australia I tried to stay with as many people as possible instead of staying at hostels because it is so great to meet local people who can tell you so much more about the country/city than any travel guide. I met so many wonderful people through couchsurfing and am so amazed by the generosity of people. I would love to host people as well but unfortunately, so far my living situation has never been really suitable for that.

Interests

As can be seen from my studies I am really interested in learning new languages and get to know different cultures. I love love love music! I'm spending most of my time at home listening to music and singing along as loud as I can :D I recently started learning to play the guitar and also some singing lessons but I'm really not that good yet. I also love going to festivals. I prefer the small ones with their charming atmosphere. One of my favourite festivals is the Immergut in Neustrelitz, Germany. Of course, I am interested in travelling and meeting people from all around the world. I was an exchange student for one year in Lund, Sweden which was one of the greatest things I have ever done in my life, I met so many amazing people there and totally fell in love with the Swedish way of life and all its beautiful landscapes.
I also love reading books, having dinner with friends and a good chat over a glass of wine. I'm not too much into sports but I'm doing a bit of yoga and go running from time to time. Yeah, so I hope this gives you a rough overview of what I like, but it's just not possible to squeeze everything into a description box like this ;)
