About Me

I'm a very curious person. I'm eager for learning, meeting new cultures, people and traditions. Traveling is when I put together all those things, and I it is when i actually feel complete. I believe the more I learn about the world, the better are my ideas of how to improve it.

"To be interesting you must be interested". My interests range from arts to quantum physics. I deeply try to be a perfect balance between rational and sensible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my first trip by my own I couchsurfed many times in Argentina and Bolivia, and that made me feel as if I was not traveling alone. It was not the amazing Moon Valley or the Salt Flats that excited me the most, but mainly the possibility of sharing great experiences with amazing people. CS is definitely the best way to do that.

Interests

I have a lot of interest on spiritual practices and Eastern philosophy. I meditate often and practice yoga sometimes.

I love nature, camping, hiking and climbing (I fucking love climbing, and if you love it too you can join me on my weekend climbing trips). But I'm also profoundly interested on how societies arrange themselves in cities, and all good things that come from that, such as culture, arts, science and technology. I'm an Engineer, by the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am particularly fond of Pedro Almodóvar's films. Not specialist in any particular writer's literature, but I've read and fallen in love with books from Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Galeano's poems, Dostoevsky, Murakami, Machado de Assis and other Brazilians writers. Love dancing.

Beeing born in Brazil

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn French, and I'm open to teach you the languages I speak.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I share a an apartment with 2 friends in Barra Funda, near a bus terminal and metro stations. We live close to a elevated highway (minhocão) that closes for cars by the night and is the coolest way to move around the city.
We have a couch available in our cozy apartment for easygoing nice travelers that are looking for more than a place to sleep. We all work until late, but are totally willing to make you have a good time in Sao Paulo.
