Breaking into the non-profit world and traveling on the side
I'm excited by life: I have had many amazing travels and can only hope for many more. I recently achieved my Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies from Sydney Uni and before that a Juris doctor in 2010 in Alabama. I am currently living in my hometown of Montgomery, AL and keen to meet up with anyone around the state. I love reggae, hip hop, rock, funk, jazz, blues, and many many many more tipos de musica. Live music in any form is religious. I LOVE to dance any style and truly enjoy learning from others about new artists and genres.I am a fan of good beer/wine...and crap beer/wine. My daddy always told me that I have champagne tastes and beer money!I am currently trying to become a better person inside and out. My favorite issues include poverty, incarceration, natural healing, traditional practices and nutrition.
The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have formally hosted through CS and I have lent my place out to many friends in need over the years so I know how it goes. I have also crashed on many a couch in my day.

I've now left Sydney where I hosted some. I hosted much more at my last house in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and enjoyed several KICK ass experiences. Sydney was totally different because there are SO many requests and I was doing my dissertation at the time so it got pretty overwhelming. I am trying to become a better CSer in terms of responding to the volume of requests. Back in Montgomery and once I move I will be open for business again :).
