ABOUT ME

I love to travel, discover various cultures around the world and strike conversations with interesting people. During my travels, I would try all kinds of new foods, visit museums and enjoy cultural peeks into the lives of locals. I enjoy shopping for unique items and cannot resist stepping into book or thrift stores.

While I love fashion and like dressing up whenever the occasion calls for it (and be in fashionable places), I don't necessarily need to travel in style all the time - backpacking in india, all sweaty and sticky in plain clothes? Been there, done that.

Nature is a great inspiration to me, and my favourite mode of transport is traveling by train.

PHILOSOPHY

If something really belongs to you, or if there is something that you are meant to do or be, it will always come back to you eventually, even if you have chosen a path that leads you away from it...It will always find its way back to you. Anything can happen in the future!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Actually, I was originally skeptical about couchsurfing. It was only until after a friend of mine introduced me to the world of couch surfing when I was in France. I met one of her couch surfing friends who hanged out with us and recommended places to go, and even stayed with her at a couch surfer who very kindly offered us a place to stay when we visited his hometown. Have yet to do more adventurous things, but looking forward to it ;)

Music:
I enjoy a variety of music ranging from rock bands to indie music; I also appreciate classical music and jazz. Can't stand techno or screamo music.

Amazing Things Seen:
- The largest sand dune in Europe, Arcachon
- The Taj Mahal & The Golden Temple
- Witnessing the sunrise in my hometown, Singapore

Amazing Things Done:
- Backflipped into & river-rafted the Ganges River
- Conquered Kota Kinabalu in Sabah
- Braved the morning rain sitting on the back of a motorbike just to catch the morning sunrise at one of the rivers in Siem Reap. It was so rewarding.
