ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Natty.  I think couchsurfing is a beautiful and amazing project and i'm very happy to be a part of it.  I currently live in Bend, Oregon.  I own a tea company called Metolius Tea and Apothecary, and I also run a kid's nature program called Wild Currants.  I love to study.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started couch surfing in 2007 when I traveled to Asheville.  I met amazing people and had an amazing time.  I've never hosted because i've never had a permanent home of my own, but i'm very much looking forward to hosting someday!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've made great friends through Couchsurfing.  I consider my first couchsurfing hosts my "adopted grandparents."

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

One day when i was couchsurfing...I went on a bike ride in the Blue Ridge Mountains with my couch surfing grandparents, David and Deanne.  Afterward a fellow couchsurfer and I rode our bikes to town and happened upon none other than my favorite author, bell hooks, and she gave me a hug!  That evening i was listening to sidewalk music in downtown asheville and someone came out of a chocolate shop and gave me piece of chocolate.  That day felt like a big hug from the universe.
