ABOUT ME
I moved to Asia to experience new cultures, lifestyles, language and take in as much as possible while meeting new people and travelling. I've always had a keen passion for music, and I've played drums for 11 years now. I'm currently studying Chinese in my free time and really trying to better my abilities to talk to the people around me; and when I'm not doing that I guess I'm travelling and taking it all in!

PHILOSOPHY

I guess it sounds pretty corny or whatever, but I personally find most happiness comes from helping others around you, and constantly learning about the world and others' experiences. While I have the chance I'd love to meet as many people and experience as much as I can.

I'm brand new to this, and was advised to try it from a friend who regularly hosts and surfs. I'm quite open to both hosting and i'd love to surf too

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best experiences so far would be travelling to a remote village in Yunnan, China and spending three days building a school for underprivileged kids. Seeing how very real the other side of the coin is took away the annoying music and drama of a tv commercial and showed the realities of how different the world is.

Teach, Learn, Share

If anyone wants to stay on my couch I'm quite willing to share that, a sleeping bag, my (limited) knowledge of the surrounding areas/places of interest, and I can try to teach you the basics of Chinese to get around with.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Local knowledge of Shanghai and surrounding cities. good food, drinks and scenic spots, a couch and duvet should you require.
