About Me

Economist and proudly inhabitant of this great city.
I love food. I love trying new food.
I like the smell of both old and new books+The smell of wet grass. Yoga. Cheese. Vanilla. Mangos & Avocados. Tequila & Wine. Gin n' Tonic.
I love cycling. It saved my life.
I've found in writing a moment of peace for my mind.
Always a tourist, as this city will always have a new surprise for you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first CS experience was as a Surfer, and I realised how different is to travel this way; somehow you get to learn more about the way of life you don't get to see on the books.
It was such a great experience, I'm ready and glad to give back (now that it's on my possibilities) and be on this experience again, but now as a Host.
Update: Hosting is as fun as surfing. You will always get a different point of view of the city with a guest, it opens your eyes to new perspectives. A piece of the world visiting your place.

I like pretty much everything.
I like to make people happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

If I had to choose only one from each:
Movie: Koyaanisqatsi (Madonna's Ray of Light video sounds familiar?)

Music: Muse (It scares me how accurate some lyrics are to my life) oh and Shostakovich.

Book: Anything written by Etgar Keret

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some years ago, a massive flood hit my hometown, making a lot of people run from their homes to safer zones. In those days I volunteered to make an Online Data Base of displaced and lost people in the local TV Channel.
The biggest reward was the smile on the ones who where looking for someone when they knew their friends and loved ones were safe or in another shelter.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love my country and I love this City, I'll be glad to show you this place (and make sure you don't keep the 'Nachos & Chilli' country idea it is said to be nor the burro+cactus place).

It's all about sharing: It's not about an specific topic or knowledge, it's the daily conversation (or the silence); the being, that gives you a lesson every moment.

Countries I’ve Visited
