About Me

I absolutely love to travel, but unfortunately can't afford it most of the time. I enjoy meeting new people and learning their stories. I also enjoy watching movies and shows based on book series. I like the simple things and would be perfectly content to walk through book stacks in a library. I love getting lost in books, figuratively and literally.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to meet locals and learn what some of their favorite things to do are. It's so different being a tourist and actually living in a place. I feel that a lot of amazing sights go unseen and beautiful moments get passed by. I want to see those sights and experience those moments.

Interests

I enjoy exploring, eating, drinking, reading, watching movies, and discussing all of the aforementioned things with others who share the same passions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled to Nepal a week after the huge 7.8 magnitude earthquake in April 2015 to participate in the relief effort.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm not sure how much I would be able to teach, but I'd be happy to help teach you about my Punjabi culture and share some secrets to amazing homemade Indian food which I have picked up from my momma over the years (she's probably the best cook in the world and can make literally anything taste amazing).

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversations, good times, a nice beer or glass of wine at the end of the day (or beginning if that suits you..it's 5 o'clock somewhere)

Countries I’ve Visited

India, Nepal

Countries I’ve Lived In
