My name is Nazanin, I have a twin sister and we live together in North Hollywood, California. I'm a TV Nerd who loves to travel. If I'm not traveling then I'm probably spending time with my family and friends, or binge watching television.

I'm a Vegetarian and I care about where my food comes from. I try my best to buy from socially conscious companies.

When it comes to going out my friends and I have a saying, "Pubs not Clubs"
I enjoy a good dive bar but really I love entertaining friends at my house. We have an open door policy and friends are always welcome.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love to travel and meet people from all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Valencia, Munich, Budapest, Vienna, Austin, Nashville, and Boston

My sister and I host more than we surf and we've truly met some amazing people. Many surfers have become our life long friends and I love Couchsurfing for that.

Interests

The first thing I ever became passionate about was Basketball, I've loved it since I was 8 years old. It is and always will be my first Love. I'm a fan of snowboarding and will never say no to a good Hike. I have a thing for Adrenaline, I keep jumping off of Bridges or out of Planes.....they say as you get older you get more cautious but that hasn't happened to me yet.

I also have an unexplainable love for Soap Operas, it always shocks people when I tell them that.

I love all kinds of movies and Music, I don't have a specific type. I've always preferred TV over Movies. I love Freaks And Geeks, Parks And Recreation, Jane The Virgin, Catastrophe, The Goldbergs, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Community, Veronica Mars, Party Down, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Friday Night Lights, Mad Men, American Dreams and Chuck.

I don't read as much as I should but the books I have read and loved are Bossypants, The Time Traveler's Wife, A Hand Maid's Tale, Running With Scissors, Dry, and In The Time Of The Butterflies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things I've seen: The Berlin Wall before it came down - the alps while Hangliding in Switzerland - Watching the sunset in Oia,Greece - experiencing all of Cuba - The temples of Angkor Wat

Amazing things I've done: Riding my bike 100 miles for Charity - Participating in a triathlon - Skydiving from 18,000ft for my 30th Birthday - Kayaking around Bai Tu Long Bay, Vietnam
