About Me

I'm a student from Kyiv, Ukraine, and this summer I hope to get my very first Couchsurfing experience. I have several things I like to do the most, like playing tennis, football, reading but none of them is comparable to a good long conversation about life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanna stop being a tourist and become a real traveler. Discover new worlds and new lifestyles. And the best way to do it is by communicating with representatives of other cultures. That is the reason I want to meet different people in different counties, learn from them and from their cultures. And last but not least is that I truly love my home country Ukraine and I wanna share at least a little piece of it with people from abroad.

Music, Movies, and Books

Actually, my tastes are quite mixed in these areas :) But mainly I like fantasy, historical or based on true stories movies. As for books, I choose American and English classics, realists and postmodernists. Currently, I read Appointment in Samara by O'Hara and it's really good. And as for music - don't even get me started :) There are too much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to tell. Depends on what you define as an 'amazing thing'.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell lots of interesting things about my home country Ukraine, share its culture, give some advice about visiting Ukraine, tell about its history, the true side of the political situation today and maybe even try to cook something from our national cuisine :)
Also, I'm working in public relations and business development while studying management, so I'll be more than glad to discuss business and stuff.
I can share my knowledge about the countries I've been in, tell how's that to have a 46-kilogram dog in an apartment, and I can promise to be a good conversation companion, who will be really listening to you, and "not just waiting his time to speak again".

Countries I’ve Visited

Bulgaria, Czech Republic, England, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine
