About Me

Hey! I'm Nazar. By day, I'm a computer science student, but my true love is music. You'll often find me playing the piano, guitar, or trying to figure out my new violin. I also write poems and songs, sooo we could create something cool together also, I can show you how easy is to start writing your first song.

I'm a huge fan of the outdoors - you can always convince me to go for a bike ride, a long walk, or a hike in the mountains. I've even worked as a camp counselor and organized youth camps, so adventure is basically my second language.

I'm a really easy-going and open-minded person. I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and sharing experiences. I'm always up for any interesting idea, whether it's a spontaneous trip, a deep conversation, or just sharing a cup of tea.

I'm also a member of the youth organisation called Foundation for Regional Initiatives, where we work on cool cultural and educational projects, mostly about music and human rights.

I'm new to Couchsurfing and I'm so excited about it! For me, it's not just about a place to stay; it's about the real connection, the good vibes, sharing experience, I can promise interesting chats, help in the kitchen like cooking some traditional Ukrainian food (have you tried Varenyky?) and I can teach you piano or guitar a bit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think the best way to travel is by connecting with people. I want to see the world through your eyes, learn something new, and share a bit of my own culture and interests. I believe that sharing our stories and skills is what makes travel truly special.

Interests

I'm a person with a lot of curiosity, my biggest passions are music and the outdoors. I love playing a few instruments, going on hikes, and cycling everywhere. I'm always exploring something new – lately it's been making tattoos. I really believe the best part of traveling is sharing experiences, so I'm always excited to learn from others. If you have a skill or a story to share, I'm all ears

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a huge and maybe a bit crazy love for music – my playlist jumps from post-punk and classical to pop and techno. I'm always excited to share my favorite discoveries and hear yours. Also I have to admit, I haven't seen many classic movies, so I'd love it if you have a favorite film to recommend – watching it together would be a perfect evening for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've done was organizing a youth camp in the Carpathian Mountains. Living in tents, waking up every day in the mountains, singing songs with new friends around a campfire under the stars, and seeing how nature brought everyone together – that feeling was pure magic. It reminded me how simple and beautiful life can be.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you basics of guitar or piano, how to write a simple poem or song, a few moves from contemporary dance, and how to cook a delicious Ukrainian dish

I'd love to learn anything you're passionate about! A new skill, your favorite recipe, a song on the guitar, or stories about your life and culture.

I'm happy to share good vibes, interesting conversations, travel stories and a lot more!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to cook a traditional Ukrainian meal for you, share my music, or teach you something to play, or help with any tasks around the house. I'm always happy to join your projects or hobbies - I learn quickly and bring good energy. Most of all, I offer genuine curiosity about your life and culture, and I hope we can exchange meaningful stories.
