Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel and see as many places as I can during my semester abroad and travelling wouldn't be as fun without meeting new people and having spontaneous experiences. Also, I prefer not to spend so much money on accommodation since a) I am a student with a limited budget b) I'd prefer to spend the money I save on much more beneficial causes, such as eating local food until not being able to move.

Music, Movies, and Books

John Mayer is my favorite artist to listen to, though I listen to a wide range of music. My favorite genres nowadays are sertanejo and kpop(yes, kpop..) Believe me, I'm just as confused as you are.
When it comes to movies, I love dramas that make you question everything for a good week after watching them. My current favorites are Incendies, Manchester by the Sea, The Killing of A Sacred Deer, Inglorious Basterds.
Books that I've enjoyed recently are: Blindness (Saramago), Veronika Decides to Die (Coelho), The Handmaid's Tale(Atwood), City of Glass (Auster)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning new languages and I'm currently trying to learn an unrealistic number of languages at once. If you are interested in learning Turkish or practicing your English, I'm more than willing to help. It might also be fun to watch me struggle with German or hear random offensive words from me in Portuguese.
