I grew up in Cincinnati, OH, in a brick house with a huge yard, next to a nature preserve. Love the wild, love the city. Moved to Greenville, SC, at age 11, so I'm half northerner, half southerner... half gypsy who loves to travel. Attended Clemson University for Architecture. Currently working on my Master's in Packaging Science (plastics, food, marketing, shipping). I hope to graduate with a desire not to return to school - I enjoy learning too much. I love finding my way in a new place. Stay hydrated, humor is best served dry.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm just completing grad school and cannot afford many hotels (possibly a few hostels). I am going to see more of the world, and work abroad if I can. I'm looking forward to trading hard work and humor for life experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There was once a large Red Oak tree at my college. When it died and was cut down, I fashioned part of the trunk into a large coffee table, preserving and displaying the life of the tree in bountiful years and the resilience through difficult years.
