ABOUT ME

Im a laid back scottish girl starting off my travel in New Zealand for 7 months. I studied Film and Television back home and plan to carry on next year. I also worked as a manager at Domino's Pizza. I love pizza :P

I want to see the world, starting off my travels in NZ. Meet new friends and share new experiences.

I like to look after the people I love. I am very caring and honest person, I don't see the point in not being true to yourself or others, You only have one life so why waste it by not being yourself. My family and friends mean the world to me. I love the ocean, I could sit for hours watching the waves or reading a book on the beach. I like to try new things, from food to sport. I will happily try something at least once. You never know if you like something if you haven't experienced it.

I guess I can be a little quiet when you first know me, I like to listen to what others have to say. I am a socialble person. I could easily sit down to a quiet evening with hot chocolate/tea or coffee with a movie or stay up chatting late into the night with music on in the background or to have a few drinks at the end of the week with friends. I would say I am a night person, though while travelling I've found I can easily wake up at 6am, have breakfast while watching a perfect sunrise then start my day.

I'm just hoping one day everything will come together, but for now; I am taking life one step at a time, relaxing and enjoying my time left in this beautiful country!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a few couches that have been such an amazing experience for me, and hopefully I will have my own place back in UK to be able to give back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with Mark in Wellington over New Year. He had 8 couch surfers altogether, my first experience! Stayed for 4 days. Mark showed us around his city and took us to a CS new year party that ended up with us having the bells on the beach!

Interests

Going to the movies, there is nothing like watching your favourite film that you have been waiting for on the big screen. One day, I hope that I get to put my film up there. That would be amazing!
I love listening to music, and I love to hear new bands.
Right now I am drawing still life. I love to spend a whole day in my world of drawing/painting/graphic designing.
Visiting new towns, bays, villages, lakes. I could walk everywhere, as long as I had some good music in my ears or amazing company for good chats :)

Movies; Notebook, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Fight Club, Tangled, Jarhead, Back to the future, Nightwatch... I could name a hundred movies I love. :P

Music; I love to listen to Jazz, Blues, Pop, Rock, Indie, Electronic. Biffy Clyro is a fave! Ben L'Oncle, Blink-182, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tegan and sara, Smiths Paolo Nutini, Noah and the Whale, Kasabian. I've a wide range of tastes lol

Books; reading White Oleander just now. I want to get into reading again, I read loads a few years ago. I like to read poetry and short stories also.

I'm living it right now ;) Being in NZ, I will update this later when I am finished my travels.. there is too much Ive seen thats amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to draw, and design. Anyone who wants to learn then I would love to teach. Even just the basics. Everyone always has something to share, even if its a small thing. :)

I would also loveee to learn the Guitar.
