To travel before beginning medical school

ABOUT ME

I grew up in North Carolina. I work as a chemist and love foreign languages and traveling. I intend to travel around Europe and Africa before embarking on my even greater journey of becoming a doctor. I begin medical school in August and so I will begin my trip in June.

PHILOSOPHY

To make mistakes and learn and hopefully leave the world in a better state than it was before I entered it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a Brazilian medical student and it was a great experience. I also couchsurfed in Asheville for a few days with Jesse and Luke. They were all great guys!

I enjoy nearly every genre of music but probably indie rock is my favorite. I'm currently reading the Great Gatsby, Middlesex, and The Sun Also Rises.
