I will be in Greece from September 7-19, running an ice hockey camp in Thessaloniki as part of a non-profit organization called Hockey Without Borders.

I spend my winters in Europe coaching ice hockey and work in Montreal restaurants in the summer. I caught the travel bug when I took my first big trip - South East Asia. I have spent my winters away from home ever since...

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

After my hockey camp in Thessaloniki, I'm taking off to Mykonos to hang out and do my open water scuba diving certification. Because I work for a non-profit, money is tough to come by, therefor, I'm looking for someone cool to crash with.

兴趣

It's easy for me to list the surface interests that I have at the moment. I love to play hockey and golf but I think what's more important are the things I want to do that I haven't done yet. I want to travel and give myself the opportunity to learn things about myself that I didn't already know. Heading to Asia will allow me to discover new interests and hobbies that I never knew I enjoyed!

Currently I'm into the newest wave of rock music that seems to be shaking up the Bieber-filled charts. Bands such as Mumford and Sons and The Black Keys have caught my attention. Local favourites such as The Sheepdogs, City and Colour, and Dan Mangan have also been at the top of my playlist.
My favourite movie of all time is Goodfellas. The Departed, The Town, The Fighter, Gladiator and Inglorious Basterds are also up there.
I don't read nearly as much as I would like to, but when I do, I like political authors who write about the state of our society such as Naomi Klein. I also delve into magical fiction with the likes of J.R.R Tolkien and George R.R. Martin.
