ABOUT ME
I grew up on a beautiful island called Öland in Sweden. After high school I went travelling in Southeast Asia for 3 months and had the best of times. I loved the freedom it gave not having a daily routine but missed the feeling of being useful (but that's definitly possible to combine ;). When I got back to Sweden I worked at IKEA and started studying at Lund University in 2008 to become a Fire Protection Engineer. During my education I spent 3 months in Christchurch, NZ, and loved it. There is also where I had my first couchsurfing experince (the Chch-group is very active) and I loved the concept!
Today I'm almost finished with my studies and will start working as a consultant. I'm looking forward to new challenges and opportunities!
What else? Oh, I'm a hugger. And I like to smile. Give the world a little extra of your love today! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
After a beautiful Sunday tramp at the Rakaia Gorge Walkway with a great bunt of Couchsurfers, I couldn't be more sure that this is a great way of meeting fun people, see other countries and learn about other cultures.
The Christchurch group is very active and I've had a lot of fun adventures with them! There's a lot of lovely people in that area. I did my first surf in NZ, had a lovely host and is convinced that this works.
For a while now, I haven'e especially active, but I'm looking forward at soon having the opportunity to travel and couchsurf again!
Interests
My lovely dog Sandi and my wonderful boyfriend Martin gets a whole lot of my time. I try to see my sister as often as I can and between those activities I see my friends for a nice long walk or a good "fika", hopefully home-baked. I try to go to the gym and run a couple of times a week. And of course a spend some time longing for my next adventure; South America! :)

Shantaram is a great book! Love the way he describes the smell, the colours and feelings. Read it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first diving experience was in the Red Sea, Egypt, and I was so amazed coming up into the boat again that I couldn't say anything; I just had a huge smile on my face for minutes! The second dive we saw wild dolphins and I was hooked.
