About Me
日本語はぺらぺらとはないけど、会話はできるよ。書くことがすごく面倒くさい
I was an exchange student in Hiroshima (広島工業大学)and Okayama (岡山大学) over ten years ago.
I've been searching for my path, my way of putting something better into the world (I was a software engineer). So I quit my job, and moved to San Francisco Zen Center (蒼龍寺) for six months. Then I did some meditation retreats, road tripping, camping, hiking, and getting lost in my parents couch. And since November, I've been traveling and volunteering, in India, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and now Japan.
I've finally found clarity: I'll become a psychotherapist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To connect heart to heart. To understand more about the world, and about our shared humanity. To develop more empathy and compassion. To share a smile or a tear.
Also, because Japan is really expensive! I have many friends in Japan, but they are only free on weekends. So I have to find something to do and somewhere to stay on weekdays!
Interests
Meeting new people (and old friends), spending time in nature, hiking and cycling, meditating, wandering. Talking and listening. Connecting. Understanding. Accepting.
