ABOUT ME

I'm not very good when it comes to talking about myself, but I am a good listener. Through travel I hope to learn how to open up, and leave my fear of expression behind.

PHILOSOPHY

At the moment I feel that up to this point I have lived my life looking for love and attention from men, and even in relationships I feel that something is missing, and hit the clubs looking for fill a void, but always end up feeling guilty, and empty. So now I'm trying to focus more on my physical/mental health, and happiness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not sure how to answer this question. I haven't really done anything with couch surfing yet. Im still a rookie.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like that couch surfing offers hang outs and get togethers. Seems like a good way to stay active without always having to travel to be amongst other surfers. I don't have any couch surfing experiences, but I stayed at a hostel in san Francisco once, and absolutely loved the vibe.

Music: Metric/Emily Haines, Tame Impala, Datarock, Excision, Madonna, The shins, Postal Service, Coldplay, 311, Lana Del Rey, Kate Havnevik, Liquid stranger (again SOO many artists. I live for music)

Books: The Hatchet, room for love, Interview with a Vampire "Tale of the Body Thief, The hot zone (I love books, but I'm picky and lose interest if they don't catch my attention immediately)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Well, it wasn't something that I have done but something I was a part of. When I was 8 years old my dad took 7 of my siblings, my pregnant mom and I across country in a van he worked on making travel ready for almost a year. We visited our family in north Carolina, Florida, new York, and Oklahoma. We tackled a few hurdles on the way home, but we made it out alive, and my mom even delivered my youngest brother in north Carolina after an almost fatal car accident that totalled my dads van with all of us in it.

I am a really good judge of character, and I can see and sense what someone thinks of me, and certain situations through their body language, expressions, and responses to questions. I'm intuitive, and can teach others to be by paying more attention to others, listening to them, and really hearing what they say. I hope to learn how to be more confident, and outgoing. How to start, and carry ona conversation without thinking about it. And how to be genuinely interested in others not just for what they have to offer, but for who they are, and what makes them tick.
