ABOUT ME

Hi everyone, my name is Alex, I really love travelling, I have been many times in Europe, a couple of months in Asia, and a few weeks in Mexico to learn Spanish (I'm still very bad but I can have a small chat). I love also photography and history. I like sports like hockey (typical Canadian, I know) cycling or just running outside, I m really open minded, I love learning about different cultures and learn a few words in local languages. I love food, especially italian dishes. I am currently studying in the UK for a year.

PHILOSOPHY

I am going to be 30 this year and I still have this problem of looking foward to see where I would be in a few years, I prefer living from day to day, even though sometimes you need to plan a bit in advance, travelling for example.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been hosted many times in Europe and in India. I really loved my experiences and I still want to meet foreign people so I will be able sometimes to host in Montreal when my flatmates agree of course, I don't live alone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started couch surfing in Germany in 2012, and I really loved the experience, you meet local people, save some money and sometimes taste local dishes. It s totally better than hostels or guest houses! I learned so much more than just doing touristic stuff, I have learned some words in every languages I have been in contact with.

I have been 2 months in British Colombia ( Western Canada) with a tent, picking up cherries as a kind of holiday work and walking in some mountains to see eagles.

For now I live quite far from the city centre so in term of money (transport) and time by public transport, it is not worth to come over. However I am more than willing to come to the city centre and meet people.
