About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Just enjoy life. Make friends. Be kind.

ABOUT ME

I'm currently based in Bali, Indonesia but I travel a lot so I'm not reliable for a couch but I can often times hang out.

I am laid back, mellow but ambitious, always up for an adventure, and enjoying life as best I can. I am social, enjoy meeting people wherever I go and I acclimate to new surroundings quickly. I am forever optimistic and do my best to look for the good in any situation. So far I have been quite fortunate in doing so.

My passion is travel. I've traveled some and find that I am happiest when I do so.

PHILOSOPHY

What's life if you can't have fun?

Don't be bored; only boring people get bored.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My job requires me to travel frequently and without much notice so I'm not a very dependable host. BUT I can meet for coffee or drinks sometimes. At the very least, I can give some suggestions on places around the Bay Area to check out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Really great so far. Met some really nice people.

Interests

Hiking. Rock climbing. Sailing. Reading. Sazeracs, Manhattans, and Old Fashions. Oceans. Finding new things to do.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a lot of behavioral psychology books - why we do what we do. Lots of other books too, mostly non-fiction, but some of the really great authors (in my opinion) make it in there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd say picking up and backpacking around Europe on my own for 3 months when I was 18 was the most life-changing, influential, amazing thing I have ever done.

That, and I watched my house burn down on CNN in 2007. That changed my life too. Really gives you perspective on what's important.
