Hi, this is Neelam Sarda, settled with my husband in Bangalore. I am a Company Secretary and MBA by profession. Well be aware, i work as an Anti Money Laundering officer 😉. But my passion lies in traveling, dance, fashion and fitness. I am also a travel blogger and follow zumba and healthy diet to keep my passion alive.

Well being a passionate traveller, i somehow got connected to Couchsurfing.
The thing i appreciate about this forum is the other members share similar vibes.

For me traveling/backpacking is to explore new places, culture, local food in the lowest possible budgeted way. For that i am always pre planned with the itinerary and i research a lot about the places so that i don't miss out on anything.

The pros of travelling are:
One gets a break from mundane life and tries to discover what actually they want from life.
Traveling gives satisfaction and happiness in life.

The cons of traveling are:
Well there are no cons, but sometimes i feel my healthy diet and exercise pattern gets little disturbed. So i try to avoid unhealthy food while traveling.

While exploring varied destination, my travel fetish is to chase sunrise and sunsets, learn the local dance form, do some adventure activity and complete weird fantasy/bucketlist specific to a place like wearing saree in snow, dance in the middle of the roads, play with the street dogs, etc.

The solo traveling made me confident enough to plan my travels independently. I discovered the inner traveller in me and realised that there’s nothing like the freedom of a road trip adventure!!

Last but not the least, i would say “Khud pe daya karna band karo, aur khudse pyaar karna seekho! Waqt kisike liye nahi rukta, beet ta waqt hai lekin kharch hum hote hain.”

Because i want to explore the world as a backpacker. Stay with locals and exchange culture. Make friends globally. Understand various laws of different countries. Want to write blog on each and every place i go and promote it..I specially love to explore the less or unexplored. I believe the locals know it better.
