Hi!

I'm Neeltje from The Netherlands. Two years ago I graduated in Animal Sciences and now I'm taking the time to travel and gain more working experience. After my studies I worked as lambing assistant on a Dutch dairy goat farm and now I'm looking to broaden my horizon. I'm currently in Australia after visiting New Zealand. In New Zealand I've been wwoofing on a sheep farm and horse trek businesses, in Australia I've worked on a cattle stud and a cattle station with camp draft horses.

I like a lot of different things: nature, animals (mostly wildlife, sheep, horses, and dogs), history, art, beautiful cities (or towns with their own story), different cultures, religions, BOOKS, good music, and films.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and see the world, and it seems that the ideal way is meeting up with locals who can show you their favourite places. It makes visiting a country or area more personal and special.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, but mostly rock and pop. I'm not picky about movies either: my current favourites are: Inception, 12 Angry Men, Casablanca, 101 Dalmatians (cartoon ;).

I tend to read all books I can get my hands on, although I especially like historical novels. Some of my favourites are The Pendragon, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and without a doubt The Alchemist.
