We are Rowan and Neeltje and are both students living in the Netherlands.

Neeltje: Sometimes I can be a bit quiet, but when I get excited about something you will notice! Travelling and meeting new people will make excited.

Rowan: I am a electrical engineering student, scouts leader and love to discover new things. Always looking what is around the next bend in the road.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

We will be travelling to Iran this august. Iran seems like an amazing country and it will be like nothing we have ever experienced. We believe Iran is probaly one of the most hospitable countries and that the only way of getting the real experience of Iran is by staying with Iranian families and people.

Our travel intinary for now will be:
7- 10 of august: Tehran
10 - 12 of august: Rasht
13 - 14 of august: Tabriz
15 - 16 of august: Qom
16 - 17 of august: Kashan
17 - 20 of august: Esfahan / Isfahan
21 - 24 of august: Shiraz
24 - 27 of august: Yazd
27 - 28 of august: Tehran

Intereses

Traveling of course!! But next to that:

We both play Dungeons and Dragons with our local groups.

We like to walk to random places and I (Neeltje) will decide how we will be walking so that we will get lost. That is the best way of discovering a new place. If we want to go somewhere in time Rowan will be the one deciding the route.

We both love to read, hang out with friends and being outdoors.

Música, películas y libros

Rowan: Fantasy and adventure stories are awesome. I really like to discover real and imaginary worlds. Both through reading and watching movies/series. Currently I am almost done reading the wheel of time series.

Neeltje: With music I like most things, but especially rock music (for example back to black by AC/DC). My favourite movie series is Hannibal Lecter, but overall I like 'fair' horror movies and action. I like to read detectives or books about history.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Neeltje: The Trans-Mongolian Railway for 6 weeks by myself. It was the first time for me travelling alone outside Europe and it was an amazing experience. I have met lots of intresting and nice people and have seen so much.

Rowan: I organised a study tour with 20 fellow students to China and Japan. Visiting companies, doing the tourist traps and, in the evenings and weekends, going into the cities to discover how amazing the world is.
