My current mission is to Enjoy Life!

ABOUT ME

I'm dutch woman, married to Maarten and mother of Lucas and Elise. I love being a mother. I'm friendly, easy going, optimistic, adventurous. I like people, I like animals, I like sports which get you from a to b (hiking, cycling, snowboarding, swimming, paragliding).
Maarten is more a working as a transmission engineer. He is a sweet quiet guy. Who likes fast cars, nature, birds and working with is hands.
Lucas (2008) is our happy boy. Who is most of the time sweet and easy going, but can also be a bit of a handful when he is naughty. He likes dinosaurs, vulcanos, insects and can play with sand and water for hours.
Elise (2010) is a very social girl. She might be shy for a few minutes, but then she most of the time likes to share things with other people. Elise likes other girls, Elsa (Frozen), Belle (from the beast), play doh, singing and dancing.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just like to travel and CS is a easy way to meet new people and find an interesting place to stay. I also like to have guests in our small house in the forest.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As a member of CS.org I had only one CS experience together with my 2 children.
Before I became a mother I travelled a lot. I really enjoy hitchhiking and I did that a lot in France. I love France and speaking french (still a lot to learn).
I've met so many lovely people. People who were so nice to give me a ride, host me, sit down for a chat or show me the most beautiful undiscovered places in nature.

音乐、电影和书籍

My favorite writer is Eckhart Tolle. I also like to read about food and it's effects on brain and body.
I listen a lot to the radio, but when I listen to a cd than I prefere Sting or easy listening music. I really enjoy to sing which i do often when i am taking a shower!
My favorite movies are 'As it is in heaven' , 'The Sound of Music', 'What the Bleep do we know', 'Food matters', 'Finding Joe' and documentaries about food, ecology, health and spirituality.

I've slept in the jungle of Congo.
I've travelled the road to Mandalay.
I've hitchhiked in France and Spain.
I've swam in the Dead Sea.
I've baked the best wedding cake ever for our wedding.
I gave birth to my beautiful son.
