I'm newly retired and have moved back to Africa after many years in the UK

I do freelance journalism work, have just taken to surfing and am a keen cyclist and swimmer

I'm also currently studying and practising mindfulness

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to give something back to the world and help others on their journey. I have a son who I hope someone would help if he needed it while travelling so I'm kind of putting it out there by offering others a place to sleep, rest and eat

I also love meeting different people and have experienced hospitality around the world

I love reading autobiographies and keeping up with the news while love a wide range of movies

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job years ago, moved to America and worked on a summer camp for two years. I had the time of my life and met many lifelong friends
