I'm a well traveled guy, originally from North Wales (UK), currently in Toronto. After graduating from Lancaster University, I spent 3 years working in the Mechanical Engineering industry in the UK, before deciding to spend some time travelling as it was something I'd always dreamed of doing.

I visited several countries in Asia with my brother over a 6 month period, before heading over to Australia on a Working Holiday visa. I spent 6 months working and saving in Sydney before heading on a road trip around Australia, again, with my brother.

After my visa expired in Australia, I moved to Toronto (about 1 year ago) - met a great group of people, including the friend I will be heading on my road trip to Texas with.

Together, we are two easy going, fun guys, just looking to make the most of our road trip to Texas!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Myself and a friend (also from the UK) are heading on a road trip from Toronto!

We have 3 weeks to travel down to Texas, via Nashville, before heading back up the East Coast to Toronto!

We've not really planned the trip in detail, but we're looking for the most cost effective approach - our stops may include Nashville, Austin (sxsw), South Padre Island, San Antonio, New Orleans, Philadelphia. Wherever we can fit in really!

We would love to experience the local life and culture in each town/city we visit, and any tips on places to visit around the places we stay (nature reserves, events) would be greatly appreciated.
