Hi! My name is Neil and I'm currently on a gap year after graduating from high school. I'm planning on spending the year traveling both in the states and abroad. I went to Peru for two weeks in October and hiked to Machu Picchu, which was incredible. I'm headed to India and Nepal next in February 2019. Next fall, I'll be attending Temple University in Philadelphia as a Journalism major and Jazz Studies major.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet local people all over the world while I'm traveling. I really don't like fake tourist areas and I'd much rather stay with locals and find out what the area is really like.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, but jazz, funk, fusion and R&B are my go-to genres. My favorite movies are Ferris Bueller's Day Off, That Thing You Do, and Airplane.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made a 126-photo book for my Eagle Scout project that was published by the Freedoms Foundation in the states. The book contains photos from the Medal of Honor Grove, which is the only place in the U.S. that honors all of the recipients of the Medal of Honor.
