My wife, Betty Anne and I love to travel and meet new people. We especially like to immerse ourselves in the local culture as opposed to just being a tourist and hope that this will enhance our chances of success. My wife is a recent cancer survivor (Sept '16) and now we want to see the world and meet everyone in it (well, maybe not everyone....lol). We are the type of people to be just as happy sitting in a pub or café meeting the locals as visiting a top tourist attraction. We are both involved in the cadet program in Canada teaching youth aged 12-18 leadership, military history, citizenship and outdoor skills - and would be interested in anything pertaining to any of that as well.

We are both non-smokers, do not do any drugs, extremely neat, tidy and respectful of others and their schedules. We embrace the CS philosophy and enjoy spending time with hosts, never show up empty handed and are willing to help with meals and clean-up. We have recently really embraced being a naturist, especially in hot climates or while swimming and are comfortable with that lifestyle.

Interests

We are interested in almost everything - we currently canoe, hike, kayak, dog-sled, bike, swim, snorkel, fish, white water raft, body surf, hang-glide and want to parachute, hot air ballon ride, walk on as many beaches as possible and see an many waterfalls as we can.
