About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To start the revolution one raspberry chocolate cocktail at a time

ABOUT ME

I have spent 11 years Going all round the world and all roads have brought me full circle. I'm back home with a thousand adventures behind me and a positive outlook in front of me. I have filled 3 passports and travelling has climbed inside me like a delicious virus and it has infected me with a care free mentality, and a willingness to seek out the strange and unexplored and bask within it while others move swiftly by and miss the beauty that is constantly all aound them.

PHILOSOPHY

Take your shoes off and walk on the grass, feel the wind in your face, stop to appreciate the moment, eat great food, suround yourself with positivity, be the change you want to see, listen to the music that makes you feel alive, tell people you care about them, forgive people and move on, be kind to people, Be gentle and strong at the same time, live by your principals, care about who you are becoming, and what you have to do to get there. Dedicate yourself, train hard. Don't believe everything you read believe everything you write. Aspire for health, happiness & Peace. And above all else make this life a great one, no matter what obstacles get thrown at you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I understand life travelling on the road, I have crossed deserts, mountains, vast wildernesses, oceans and the kindness and hospitality of others has been there time and time again - so now I am in a position to extend my hand in return. I am a caring and considerate person, who feels that people should give without want.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend got me into it, as the plus one on his account. Over the years I have stayed in so many weird and wonderful places with so many people who I met from brief chance encounters - I have been cared for, looked after and welcomed into their houses when they could have quite easily not cared enough to invite me. My experience with this is 100% positive and has taught me a lot.

Interests

Snowboarding, Muay Thai, eclectic musical tastes, I am passionate about movies, books, theatre and art. I love cooking going out to fine dining restaurants and trying new cuisines, socialising and partying. I love in equal measures various contrasting environments - city life, beach life, mountain wilderness, and dense jungles. But above all I am interested in Having fun and sharing that with everyone around me.

I love the films Once, into the wild, the fountain, the beach, old boy, mean streets, black swan, dog day afternoon,Spirited away, Pans labyrinth, Kramer vs Kramer, trainspotting, the godfather, anchorman. Books - freakonomics, the alchemist, shantaram, filth, the count of monti christo, damage done, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, eat pray love,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I crossed the Gobi desert in Mongolia on a camel, got rid of the camel got a horse and rode north into Siberia, hunting and making our own shelters up in the mountains...then winter hit and I nearly froze to death, turned tail and rode back to civilisation, stopping briefly to fall through a frozen river - which I really enjoyed…I tuned back to my native Scottish colour of Purple x

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Muay Thai kick boxing so if anyone wanted to train or learn some technique then I would be happy to show them. I used to fight professionally when I lived in Asia and it taught me so much about respect and discipline. I used to study mandarin but having not used in in many years I'm really rusty but I love the thirst for knowledge about languages. I love to cook so anyone that has recipes to share or show me I would love this
