ABOUT ME

I did most of my traveling immediately after college. I headed to Europe with a friend, and made it to Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, England, Morocco, and Greece before I ran out of money and had to come back.

I am currently living in Tampa, and I've been here about a year - since I can't travel much at the moment, I'd love to have visitors!

Interests

Photography, scuba diving, swimming, reading, computers, running, rock climbing (not much of that in Florida), traveling of course, and just about anything involving the outdoors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did you know that it only rains about every 3 years in the Sahara? That's what our guides told us anyway, in an attempt to cheer me and my friends up as we sat on our camels, shivering, as the rain whipped into us and quickly drenched the one pair of dry clothes I had. No, this isn't about hypothermia in the desert - it's about when the rain finally stopped, the clouds broke, and I saw a rainbow arch through the sky and touch down in the sand dunes. How many people get a chance to see that?
