I grew up in Belgium and after my education, I decided to leave the country behind, at least for some time. 22 years seemed like enough time spent in two square meters. I have lived in India and Prague and am currently living in Dublin with my boyfriend and a Swiss friend.

My I's: I love cooking, but even more so eating and drinking. I enjoy wandering, walking, hiking, running - I feel experiences are usually better and more grounded on foot. I'm a sucker for television and movies, it's my lazy and guilty pleasure.

There is no better way of traveling than connecting with people that are open to host you, not as a tourist, but as an interesting person and potential new friend. I have absolutely loved hosting friends and strangers and in turn, I have made friends myself by surfing their couches. What's better than that?

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

When I hiked for hours uphill, feeling warm and heavy, finally reaching the top and then camping there, on a mountain in North India. We fell asleep as soon as we hit the grass, while the sun was going down. I have never felt so content. It was the best people in the best place and there was nothing else.

The thing about couchsurfing, backpacking, traveling, is that you share a large part of your experience abroad with people you might not have met at all otherwise . You learn on the way. I just enjoy learning about you, your life, your habits and your stay in whichever place you're staying in.
