About Me

to discover if enlightenment is contrary to artistic expression

traditional eight fingered two thumbed kinda guy

Aims in life;

Stare into an active volcano

To live in and understand the desert.

Walk on 2m stilts with confidence

To learn how to ride a horse.

To transform into a seal on my human death

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

spreading adventure in the global search for new experience and personal revolution;

While great so far, I've had a few surfers be a wee bit immature and though I may enjoy dressing up in gingham aprons, brandishing cooking tongs with my hair in a bun, I aint your mother, nor your daddy for that matter... actually if we were related you wouldn't be 'requesting' so much as 'demanding' - so if you're reading this there's a more than likely chance we're not related... now where did that coffee go...

people that parade as forms of life rather than walking coffins
film marathons,
de ja vu
spontaneous laughter
babies that blow kisses to trams
falling asleep on bean bags
surprise noodles in closet
bananas that can handle the ride
hats that fit
internal body clocks
strange asian drinks
mail in mailbox
psychedelic buskers
well positioned tents
the first mango of the season

Music, Movies, and Books

Having seen so many films ....aahhhh... I'd have to say I saw a Japanese magazine of "Betty Blue" which reminded me of how perfect that movie was. I had to buy it. Also if you happen upon a Czech film called "Zelary" then you have a work of genius in your hands. "Zentropa", "Being John Malkovic", "Apocalypse Now", "Napolean Dynamite" . "2046" - WATCH IT - pure brillance - where do i stop..

Count of Monte Cristo, Immortality [Kundera], The Godfather, The Ground beneath her feet, Island of the Day Before,

Music - too many to name, so the latest bands on my playlist are; Kraftwerk [always], Cat Power, Antony and The Johnsons, Stereo Total - check them out!!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
