ABOUT ME

I am a 22 year old German student of foreign languages/translation. I speak German, English, Spanish and some French, which I'd love to improve. I'm a traveller, open-minded and relaxed person.
I grew up in a village close to Münster, quite in the north of Germany, then I moved to Cologne to study. I love my city and would like to share it with travellers! Unfortunatly my current place doesn't allow me to accept any guests, there's just no space :(

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love travelling and meeting new people! I know that's exactly what everyone says in this place, but what else is there to say? It's true :)
There is usually so much more to a place you will only find with locals. I know that particularly well, because Cologne is much much more than its famous Cathedral but most people never notice because they just get to the (pretty ugly) city centre! So, show me what's there about your city that tourists usually don't notice! :)

Interests

Travelling, cooking (even if I must admit that I'm not really the best cook) and particularly eating ;), foreign languages and cultures, going out for dinner, drinks or party, sitting on the balcony with my flatmates, talking and drinking wine, sometimes sports, but with fluctuating motivation.
