ABOUT ME

I'm a spontanious and happy girl, who likes to do a lot. Next to my study at university I like travelling, sporting, going out, having a good time with friends, meeting new people, discovering the world and so on.

PHILOSOPHY

I think it is really important you're having a good time and that you're helping otherones having a good time too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I heard about this website a couple of years ago. In that year I went hitch hiking with my best friend to Paris where we have couchsurfed. It was great! So the next year we did the same, but then in Barcelona.

Interests

Most of all I'm interested in other people. They're the ones you learn from and the ones that make you feel happy. Futhermore I'm interested in a lot of sports, to play and to watch as well. Most of all I like korfball (a typical dutch sports, most related to basketball) tennis and football. I also like it a lot to go out with friends. And of course I totally like travalling

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch movies that often, but my favourites are The Green Mile & Discovery of Heaven.
When I was a child I liked the books of Roald Dahl the most, and actually it never has changed, although there are a lot of other authers I like now, Paulho Coelho for example.
I prefer to listen pop music and R&B, but i like a lot of other music as well. I've to mention it's all just to listen because I can't sing nor play an instrument.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After I'd finished secundary school 3 years ago, I went for a sabatical to Brighton and Barcelona. In both cities I went to an international language school. So I improved my English and I learned Spanish, a language which was totally new to me. I liked it a lot! It was so amazing to have classmates from all over the world, and meanwhile really living in this great English and Spanish cities. Since I was living in a hostfamily, I experienced the British, and later the Spanish way of life everyday. It was the best year ever!

Teach, Learn, Share

I hope I can learn a lot of all the different cultures. I experienced it makes you knowing more about other people and there culture, and also about yourself and your own culture. I'm especially interested to see how people are dealing with, and reacting to, all the things going on in this world and in there lifes.
