Hey! I'm a young, full of life, easy-going portuguese guy who happens to love travelling, learning new languages and who gets triggered at the word "traditional".

I'm on the last year of my Master's in Engineering Physics at Instituto Superior Técnico, from Lisbon's University, and would eventually like to work in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence or Quantum Information. But that's still far ahead, for now I just want to make the most of my youth years and travel as much as I can!

Besides studying and travelling, you'll usually find me trying to make the perfect coffee or at a bar drinking a beer with my friends or even strangers. I'm not too picky when it comes to finding company to enjoy a good beer!

Overall, I'm as much interested in experiencing new cultures as in giving to know mine. I'm very much in love with my country, Portugal, but there's still enough room for many more!

As most young people, I've the time, the willingness and the energy to go out travelling, but I just seem to lack the money. Besides, what better way to experience a new country than to share a few days with a local?

兴趣

When it comes to travelling, I'm very much interested in trying to experience the local life and not becoming just another tourist, by actually trying to learn the language, eating the traditional food and making friends wherever I go.

As for more personal interests, I really love playing football and, if I may say, I'm not that bad at it! On my spare time I can also become a bookworm, in the figurative sense of course, and last but not least a coffee and beer lover!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

After the end of my Erasmus in Brussels, I decided to hitchhike back home to Lisbon with a friend, without ever taking a public transport or spending a night in an hostel. It took us three amazing weeks of hopping on and off countless strangers' cars, sleeping in our tent in the most incredible places, either by a lost river forgotten in the mountains or in the back of a fully loaded beer truck, and all the sort of adventures that come from being three weeks completely carefree and on your own on the road!
