About Me
ATTENTION: If you do not get a response from us in 24h, it is because we either already have a Couchsurfer, or we are not able to host. We receive huge amount of request and just cannot answer to all of them on time sometimes. Hope for your understanding!
We are a French-Slovene married couple, a university professor (Political Science) and a private Math teacher, living in Paris. We love to wander endlessly around Paris, so if you visit us, we know where to take you for good food, museums, or a pleasant walk in a park. We both love art, especially movies and galleries/museums, and dancing (electro, minimal). We are not extraordinary when it comes to food – like many people, we love to eat, and most days we cook at home, as this is one of our shared hobbies. Nena is a motorbiker (a committed Royal Enfield lover) and an aspiring writer, while Amory is a tattoo artist and a passionate vintage watch collector (he is also self-taught in repairing old watches!).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In a world where everything is monetized, Couchsurfing restores our hope in humanity and kindness. Sharing is caring, and through Couchsurfing, we have built a family of the most interesting people.
We hadn't offered Couchsurfing before because we moved regularly and lived in different countries. However, last year, we decided to settle in Paris, so we are happy to host people finally! Whenever possible, we have always hosted our friends and friends of friends, and we cooking for others, having deep and fun conversations, taking walks, and making people fall in love with Paris - as we did!
Since we moved in last Summer with only a few bags of personal belongings, our place is still a work in progress. We prefer vintage and old furniture, so furnishing is a slow process, choosing each piece with care and a personal connection - if at your arrival our home feels a little 'empty' this is why:)

Music, Movies, and Books
Very broad spectrum, listening music in the evening is one of our passion, Amory is a former DJ, so we have plenty of good music and great soundsytem in the living room! Just not reggeaton or comercial pop :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There is plenty, but let us meet and share these stories with some good food and laughter! Coucsurfing is for sure one of the best things we have ever experienced!
Teach, Learn, Share
We both believe that every single person can teach you something, and that there is always something new to learn (we are both teachers - probably this tells a lot how much we value 'learning'.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Active listening! Good food, nice conversations, walking buddies.
