ABOUT ME

I am a down-to-earth individual. I love to laugh and have a good time. I am currently pursing my PhD in Environmental Engineering. So far I also have a BS in Chemistry as well as two Masters degrees in Chemistry and Engineering. My current research focus is on nuclear remediation. My previous research involved adsorption and sequential bioreactors(in case anyone else is into research and would like to discuss the matter...I promise its more exciting than it sounds)

I truly enjoy traveling. I recently went backpacking through Central America for two months and it was the most amazing experience of my life.....and I did it alone! I am looking forward to visiting more countries outside the beaten track......

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking forward to hosting people from all walks of life. I am interested in going on roadtrips, hiking, bar hoping and anything that causes cultural awareness. I have participated in many couchsurfing happy hours and get togethers in the DC area. However now that I am in the Corpus Christi area not so much. I am interested in meeting people who are very interested in learning about the world around them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done alot of surfing and was gearing up to do some hosting in my previous town of Baltimore. However now that I am in Kingsville I highly doubt I will get the opportunity to host, if I was in a larger city.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Movies but at the same time I dont have time to watch TV. As far as movies I enjoy comedies, international, drama, sci-fi and much more.

For books I enjoy nonfiction which involve books relating to history especially and cultural and social awareness.

For music I can listen to anything from ColdPlay, Wizkid, The Killers, Jay-Z and too many more to name

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Definitely would be backpacking through Central America alone and then hiking up Macchu Picchu have to top my list as of now.....there are many just as equally awesome things I have done but those are at the top two

Teach, Learn, Share

I completely enjoy cooking and like to learn how to cook other dishes outside of that which I know.

I am also good in the math and sciences if for whatever reason you find yourself needing help in those subject while in my company....which I doubt since you are probably traveling
