Neneh trains horses and Jack is an electrician amongst other things.
In the evenings and weekends we mostly do yoga, cook and share food with friends, go dancing, learn aerial circus and acrobatics, practicespanish or just enjoy a night in with a film and a bath.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me and my partner, Jack, are going to travel around Central America for 4 months and hope to get fully immersed in the lifestyle and language by staying with locals instead of being in hostels or hotels.

Interests

We try and be as active as we can and genuinely crave being outdoors, whatever the weather.
We have recently started exploring the world of aerial circus and so far the favourite is trapeze but do enjoy playing on silks and rope.
Never happier than when in water, particularly the sea! Very keen on surfing but haven't found much time for it recently. We are going to do our PADI diving qualification whilst we're away this time.
Play piano and flute, enjoy going out and dancing and have recently started bouldering.

Music, Movies, and Books

Motown and old soul music is one of my favourites. Aretha franklyn, Al Green and Otis Redding etc...
Also really enjoy some breaks and drum and bass, non cheesy dance music, good bands and chill out psy prog/dub, interesting world fusion and some classical.
Favourite movies include les intouchables, labyrinth, amelie, time bandits, willow, how to train your dragon, studio ghibli.......the list goes on.
Books are quite of factual but if not mostly things like Terry Pratchet, Philip Pullman and other fantasy writers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping out of a plane at 16,500 in New Zealand was one of the most memorable and awe inspiring things we've done recently.

Teach, Learn, Share

Neneh can teach people to horseride and understand equine behavourism, train dogs, play the piano, cook a variety of different cuisines, share travel stories and give advice on places to go, make amazing smoothies and cocktails and make you laugh.
Jack can share knowledge on raw chocolate, mushrooms, electrics, yoga, sewing,building and other such things
We would love to learn about different lifestyles, local knowledge about plants and wildlife and beautiful places to visit.
