ABOUT ME

I'm shy, but talk to me and the conversation goes... I'm married to Manu, a lovely interior designer who has got my attention when we were doing our exchange program back in Dublin. Like me, he also loves traveling, know the stories of a place, going out to explore the city, and a good excuse to relax with me, like going out for a coffee or to have dinner.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we're free souls, always going to find other free souls in the world and fulfilling each other's needs with everything we need in the moment, that being with love, a different perspective about the world and/or knowledge. We'll always learn something new before going to sleep!

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We use Couchsurfing as a great tool to meet great people while we save some money on our trips. We like to consider more than one option before planning everything. It's good to mention that we're healthy users here and we look for likewise hosts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met a couple of friends who traveled from the Netherlands, and they stayed at the house of a Couchsurfing friend of theirs during carnival season, in 2012, back in Recife, Brazil. It was a great experience! They got to know our culture and I loved to hear how they live in their hometown!

In 2017, we've met a wonderful couple from Brussels. We say to each other that we were lucky to have met. Our stay lasted for a few wonderful days which passed too fast (so sad!) but we got to see the city and its surroundings and ended up discovering that they love hugging. We're friends until present day!

Interesses

We would love to make good friends, hang out, talk about our experiences and really connect with people. From our passion for traveling we had the idea to start an Instagram account to register our trips around Spain, at first, but also looking forward to fulfilling our profile with content from other countries. With that being put, photographers who would like to help us create stunning pictures of our adventures, please give us a shout! :)

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

About musical genre, Manu is into ballads, rock, r&b and eventual pop music while I prefer listening to pop-indie-alternative-rock-pop rock-hip hop-electronic music, preferably new artists (sometimes I discover not-so-new or not-at-all-new artists but, for me, they are!)

Movies and TV series are something that we are passionate about, however, we never come to a final decision when it comes to actually watching them, as our mood differs most of the time. But we like a plethora of genres.

I'm more of a learner than a teacher or a sharer, but I can sure share with you my unique view of the world. My husband usually does the talking and I eventually punctuate. ;P
