AS OF MARCH 2015:
I am setting out on foot from my home in Lansing, Michigan and walking westward across the continental United States, towards Oregon. Depending on where the wind takes me, it may be a very long time before I get there (I am not averse to detours).

I am sure I will meet many wonderful people along the way. Maybe you'll be one of them!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A bunch of years ago I was hanging out with some friends in Grand Rapids, when some stranger came into the loft and was introduced as a "couch surfer". The concept was partially explained to me, at which point I thought it was about the most amazing thing I'd ever heard.
