About Me
Hi! I’m Neo, an artist living and studying in Vienna. I lived in the States for 9 years, most recently in NYC. I grew up in Beijing and speak both English and Mandarin, and currently learning German. I enjoy taking long walks, staying outside, sharing food, attending cultural events, and visiting art spaces.
In my art practice, I've mostly focused on video installations, though I've also done analog projects like making books by hand. At the moment, I'm picking up drawing again, which I practiced for years growing up.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to connect more closely to the cities I visit by socializing with hosts that live there, and get a taste of what it feels like to be home even in far away places. I enjoying meeting people and sharing our different life experiences and perspectives.
I've always been a clean and respectful flatmate in shared households, and I can certainly adhere to that when couchsurfing - respecting the host and their space, keeping noise down, cleaning up after myself, etc.
