I´m Nerea, a 23 year old basque woman, from Altsasu (Navarre) living and working in Amsterdam since September 2017. As a person who was grown up in a campsite in the mountains, I´ve felt always close to nature and love it, even though I also enjoy the city life.

I practice yoga, almost everyday and since I discovered it, I found that yoga is my thing. I love outdoors activities such as cycling, hiking and telemark skiing, now I´m doing some trials with climbing. As I felt quite jealous of people who dance well so I decided to start learning how to dance swing. Let see how it goes!

Sometimes I feel like having some time to draw, I like reading and underlining while I do it and I enjoy as well discovering documentaries in Netflix.

One of my favorite things in life is to have beers with new or old friends in a terrace on a sunny day.

Now that I'm planning my first solo trip to Iceland, I want to experience a new way of traveling, looking for an opening and enriching experience based on trust and confidence. I want people to be a big part of the trip, as well as moments that I will remember after, so that I think Couchsurfing brings the opportunity to connect with nice people and plan great experiences.
