About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Setting up an hackspace in Barcelona

ABOUT ME

I'm a big geek and usually quite proud of it. I tend to approach everything with a pretty rational mindset, trying to keep an open mind and a lot of curiosity.

I tend to be a quiet person and sometimes a bit of a loner, but can also passionately discuss an interesting topic until four in the morning when I'm with the right people.

I love working with creative people that know how to use my technical skills to do amazing stuff.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to keep an open mind and be curious about things. I'm a pretty rational person but lately I've been trying to learn how to follow my feelings and go with the flow a little bit more.
I'm not a religious person but I respect those who are, as long as they don't try to shove their beliefs down anyone's throat and they don't cause harm because of their beliefs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just joined couch surfing formally, but I've shared my couch with friends from all over the place many times, and I've been hosted quite a bit too.

Interests

I used to be completely absorbed in anything related to software, especially free and open source software.

Lately I've been trying to detach myself from this and explore other kinds of geekery, including electronics, woodworking, gardening and in general trying to learn skills that are more manual in nature.

I love moving around by bike, and do weird biking expeditions like passing through all the public parks of a given city in one day, or follow as closely as possible the path of ancient Roman roads.

I love finding clever ways of reusing objects that other people don't want, or that others would normally consider trash, instead of buying new stuff.
