I'm an independent music producer from Argentina living on a tropical island in Brazil. I work here as a beach photographer during the summer season. The rest of the year I work freelance with communication and live productio for the music industry. I specialise in jazz, salsa, latin folk and electronic music.

Because I believe in the power of music to change minds and we need it to build a sustainable, peaceful future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I believe in collaboration and reciprocity. Being here is a small way of betting for that belief.
I have a home with 2 bedrooms because I prefer living with other people, as I think it makes me a better person and makes life much more enjoyable.
I love meeting people and learning from them their culture, their customs, how they think, how they eat, how they dress, what's their every-day life like, what they take for granted, what they expect from life

Interests

I've always been an artsy person with an intellectual edge and a keen interest in culture. I'm passionate about communication in all its aspects, that's why I'm always eager to learn new languages and to connect with people from different backgrounds. I'm fascinated with everthing that happens when humans interact with each other, with them-selves and with the world around them. I intend to always keep an open mind and be non-judgedamental about what I see.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music
I have an open mind when it comes to music, for I wouldn't be good at what I do if I weren't. Still, my personal preferences go towards improvised sounds, interesting blends with a personal touch, and black music in general.

Books
The first 25 years of my life I was just a bookworm. I like consistent stories and a poetical use of grammar and vocabulary are my preferences. Stream of consciousness is my kind of read. Madly in love with short stories.
My prefered authors are: Huxley, Garcia Marquez, Cortazar, Borges, Faulkner.

Movies
As a videomaker I enjoy every aspect of the 7th art, particularly films and directors that make an artistic and symbolic use of composition.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Make all my dreams come true, litte by little.
When I was 18 and had to choose a career I took a test where I listed: film director, radio producer, psychology, editorial publishing, graphic design and photographer. Though I chose to study editorial publishing, by my 30s I was a photographer, filmmaker, designer and live producer for the music business. Radio production is still pending but that podcast is coming.
