Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
travel and live beyond my comfort zone - do and see something special.
ABOUT ME
I am a student and living the student life. Sex, drugs & rock'n'roll baby! ummm... actually i study really hard and on my free time I work as a translator for the news, and sing in a classical music choir. But, a girl can dream.
I live in the centre of Jerusalem and i do love this city, so i like to walk around when i can. I love cats, but i like dogs. Except when they smell.
UPDATE!!
Now that I've moved to London for an exchange program, my life is a bit more rock&roll baby (god, I wrote that a while ago...), although I managed to find a classical choir to sing for in London too!
UPDATE THE SECOND!
Back in Jerusalem!
PHILOSOPHY
I'm confused.
UPDATE!!
still confused.
Maybe I should mention I actually am a philosophy student.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to Couchsurf when travelling, if the people I'm travelling with are open minded enough, and I also hosted a few surfers in my flat in Jerusalem, although my flatmate did the organizing for that. Still, I had a good time with all of them - I love tourists and love showing them my beautiful, yet complicated, city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I took a relatively short trip to England based on Couchsurfing - it was great, a really interesting and beatiful experience. I also surfed a tiny bit in Greece, and had some experiencing hosting in Jerusalem.
Interests
Music (listening, singing and playing - Piano & Ukulele), History, Literature, Politics (i do live in the middle east), traveling, learning different languages, Horse riding, swing dancing, eating (cant help it) and... I'm usually willing to try anything once.

Music, Movies, and Books
This could go on and on, so I'll write shortly: books - i prefer 'classics' since they're just books that a lot of peole thought were good - why should i be different? + scifi and fantasy, sometimes.
**That is still true, but i have become less of a book snob. I'll just read what's available to me now.
***I now have an Amazon Kindle (LOVE) so I'm back to the classics - they're free!
Music - mostly everything: folk, country, classic rock, israeli, rock & roll, prog, punk, grunge, classical, arabic, hip hop, funk, jazz (swing!), pop etc. except metal songs with no melody (but metallica is mostly fine :)..
Movies - depending on my mood, from Trifo (that french guy that for sure does not write his name like this) to american teen flics.
