I'm Netty and I'm from the Netherlands (which means I'm tall! :D)
I am a Christian and I love God and people. I think everyone has its own beauty and charm, you'll only need to discover.

I grew up in a small town near the border of Germany. For about 7 years I live in one of the prettiest cities of the Netherlands, called Utrecht.
I studied at the University of Utrecht (Pedagogical Sciences) and as an exchange student at the Southampton University (England).

Interests

My favorite thing to do is definitely sailing. It is wonderfully quiet and relaxing. I like reading and music and I
enjoy travelling very much, especially by hitchhiking. I hitchhiked to Copenhagen, Berlin, some cities in Poland, Paris, Switzerland and Italy... It is a great way to meet new people from all over the world. I used couchsurfing to stay in Paris and Strassbourg and it was amazing! Very good experience. I learned a lot about the French culture and I even had the chance to learn some French sentences. I always love to hear about the "non-touristic" part of the city, and about the people who live in that city. I also like to be a tourist and see the real touristic things. The combination of "non-touristic" and touristic is what I like. It gives you a real idea about a place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've sailed on the Atlantic Ocean! The stars, the sunrises and sunsets, dolphins... It was a truly amazing experience.
