ABOUT ME

I´m a very curious person and maybe a bit restless. So I like to talk about almost everything. (Therefore I learnt some languages.) I think everybody has a story to tell, so I hope to hear it.

I studied politics and history, and still these subjects fascinate me till today. Therefore I´m also part of local politics here in Germany. I was even a candidate for the national parliament.
My second big interest is literature. I write stories and novels, and i published some smaller things. I´m member of a local writer club and with some friends we edit a literature magazin.
I earn my living with selling antiques, especially items of Art Nouveau and Art Deco. And as a second job I´m working some weeks every year as a tour guide in Spain and Portugal, and also as a city guide in my beautifull hometown Nuernberg.

PHILOSOPHY

First of all i like, that the world is so colourfull. I´m very curious to get known with all kind of people, cultures, food, music, history and nature. Therefore I was travelling quite a lot in the past and still I will continue to travel in the future. I like to move around like the locals and share a time with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the early 90ies I travelled as a member of Servas. That was almost the same like couchsurfing. For example, I did that in Northern Ireland, that was then a quite difficult place to travel. But being invited to family houses of both sides, catholic and protestant, helped me to become a distinguished idea of the situation then.
