born and raised in los Angeles but now live in san diego. both my parents are from mexico, so i speak fluent mexicano. i´m mexican american without a hyphen but identify myself as Chicano--someone of mexican decent who is politically aware. i have a B.A. in philosophy. i like to surf, read, and i´m a futbol junky...sorry but i´m in spain so i couldn´t upload a photo.

i´m really new to the CS thang. some guy at my hostel just turned me on to it, so i haven´t had a chance to participate. but i would love to host at some point in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none, except for years ago when a girlfriend threw me out and another time when i had too much to drink and woke up on some random couch.

yikes. too many to name but i´ll give it a go...

movies: the big lebowski

music: i have a universal ear, but i dig hiphop, older punkrock, rock, spanish rock, some jazz, indie, funk, soul and a lot of mexican music.

books: the collossus of marrousi by henry miller is one of my all time favs. the count of monte cristo, the sun also rises are others.

but i read lit, philosophy, history, nonfiction, and marca.
